A powerful, floral interpretation of sandalwood.

Nature becomes art as the strength of sandalwood is enveloped in tender rose petals. Between bark and blossom lies a refreshing, spicy undertone infused with cardamon and deeper notes of agarwood and myrrh.

Santal pao rosa is a name buried deep in guerlain’s heritage, with pao rosa being the name given to a fragrance by aimé guerlain, created in 1877, and evoking the unique encounter between wood and rose.

Powerful, sacred sandalwood is enveloped in rose.

With Santal Pao Rosa, sandalwood essence is bottled in excess. This creative endeavour evokes the art of Giuseppe Penone, who led the Arte Povera movement. His work takes the form of installations and sculptures comprising scented and organic woods.
